In the outing, the duo revealed that they first met with a mutual friend during the power breakdown which followed the disastrous rain spell in Karachi. “I’d known him – from Instagram – and then we met for the first time, there were sparks definitely, at least from my side,” the actor shared with the host.
“Quite honestly, I found her very annoying,” Arslan recalled his first reaction. “She used to speak a lot and I am a very shy, introverted kind of person, so I did not like her at all at that time.”
“After that, we met a couple of times at restaurants with a group of friends,” Hira added.
“Later as we started interacting, we realized that our core values are quite similar and that’s what worked for us,” Arslan mentioned further.
The two shared that they turned into really close friends
but had never thought about marriage until pointed out by Arslan’s mother once after she met Hira. “My mother found Hira very similar to her and hence, she wanted us to get married,” Arslan added.Speaking about their compatibility at another point in the show, Arslan mentioned that Hira is very cranky in the morning until she has had her breakfast. “So I very quietly go to the kitchen, prepare her tea and omelette and then talk to her.”
