Actor Hira Khan said her family calls her “Poons” because of her aggressive nature.

Hira Khan unveiled her nickname in a tell-all interview on ARY Digital morning show Good Morning Pakistan hosted by Nida Yasir.
“The others did not have a name as of such but I have a very funny name and I am embarrassing myself for that,” she said. “Remember the Gullu Butt incident in which things got broken? I was in college that time and used to fight a lot with others.
“I used to approach that person for a physical altercation for speaking ill about my friends. So, my family named me ‘Ponu Butt’. It evolved into ‘Poons’ and they call me like it is my name.”

Hira Khan also revealed from where she gets the heaviest Eidi lifafa from.
She said her younger brother, who is in Canada, gives her the heaviest Eidi lifafa. The celebrity added that they wake up every morning and receive message of the money deposited into their accounts.
She added she feels guilty of not sending him Eidi but realizes she has grown up.
The celebrity won hearts with her impeccable performance in Mere Humsafar as Rumi, and in Woh Pagal Si as Sara.
