I have not stepped down as Pakistan's hockey team captain, says Imran

Mohammad Imran, speaking exclusively with ARY News, said the news of him stepping down as Pakistan’s hockey team captain are baseless.

He added that if he decides to retire, he will make the announcement in front of the media while inform the nation about the facts.

“It is a honour for me to play for my country”, Imran said.

It should be noted that Pakistan failed to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics following the team’s dismal show in the Hockey World League in Antwerp.
