Imran demands PM to resign first, then form a commission

Talking to media after PM’s speech, Imran Khan said, “I do not have a personal enmity with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, it is the matter of national interests”. He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) came into power four times in Punjab and three times in the center, and we are well aware of its ways.

Criticizing the PM’s talk about economic growth, Khan said only the Sharif family flourished as all the relatives of the Prime Minister are holding key portfolios.

He slammed PM Nawaz for praising the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), saying that the commission should rather be punished as it terribly failed in conducting free and fair polls.

The PTI chief said the government will use goons like Gullu Butt under police uniform, to prevent PTI’s long march, about which the IG Punjab has been informed, in advance. He added that the long march will take place in any situation and we will set out for Islamabad.

Imran Khan said, ‘upon reaching Islamabad, we will demand the Prime Minister to resign and then to form a judicial commission to probe elections rigging’.

He warned the government, saying ‘this turbulent flood of people will sweep away PM Nawaz with it and he is himself digging up his grave by using force to restrain the people from the long march’.

Moreover, the PTI chairman said the government itself is provoking the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) by surrounding its offices through containers and making police go after its workers.
