Imran denies forced closure of business in Karachi

“We didn’t force any one in Karachi to shut down shops or any business activities,” he claimed.

Speaking to media at Karachi airport, Imran said we were shutting down the city not for ourselves, but for the country.

He said that people were ready to take on the government if they repeated the same ‘violent episode’ as they did in Faisalabad.

It is expected that Imran Khan will fly back to Islamabad from Karachi around 5pm after addressing a sit-in at Shahrah-e-Faisal.
