NAB submits record of cases against Imran Khan in LHC

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has submitted details of cases registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former pirme minister Imran Khan in the Lahore High Court (LHC), ARY News reported on Friday.

The anti-graft buster, in its report, there are two cases registered against former prime minsiter Imran Khan, which are being investigated by Rawalpindi NAB.

One of the cases is related to retaining gifts from the Toshakhana and misuse of power

while another probe is being conducted for alleged monetary benefits and concealing records from authorities.

It said both cases were currently at the inquiry stage, adding that a call-up notice had been issued to the political leaders.

The development comes as Khan moved the high court to seek details of all cases registered against him in the country.

Earlier, former prime minister Imran Khan decided to challenge the National Accountability Bureau’s summon in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

A team of NAB officials last week, served notices to Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi and summoned them to appear before the NAB on March 21.
