Imran Khan performs groundbreaking of hospital named after Qazi Hussain

NOSHEHRA: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday performed groundbreaking of a hospital in Noshehra named after former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad and said he had cordial relationship with Qazi and they both shared similar thoughts, ARY News reported.

“Qazi Hussain Ahmed wanted to see Pakistan as a corruption-free country. Almost on all the issues we shared similar thoughts but one thing and I used to ask him that why he made alliance with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman,” he said talking to media after the groundbreaking ceremony.

Khan said nations are built through expending funds on them. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government brought reforms in the sector of health, education and police. The provincial government’s success was evident through the fact that examples of its police were given in other parts of the world, he said.

He said the KP government has started paying special attention towards health facilities and after that public hospitals would start functioning better than private hospitals.

The PTI chief also said he was waiting for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to call PTI MNA Murad Saeed and seek apology from him.

He said Nawaz’s party took no action against its MNA Javed Latif over using lewd language.

“Had somebody done such a demeaning act in my party, I would have expelled him from the party,” he said.
