ISLAMABAD: In his latest tweets pertaining to documents that were submitted by the ruling family with regard to Panama Papers case, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that producing fraudulent documents before the Supreme Court is another crime of the Sharifs as what he said such documents intend to obstruct justice.
“Apart from money laundering [and] corruption, another emerging major crime of Sharifs is producing fraudulent documents before SC to obstruct justice,” Khan tweeted during the hearing session of Panama Papers implementation case in the Supreme Court for fourth consecutive day on Thursday.
Khan, being the main
petitioner in the case, also labelled such practice of assuming and treating the masses as dumb as the biggest crime, implying the misuse of authority as what he said: “Biggest crime is to treat the nation as dumb and with such contempt – assuming they can fool the entire nation all the time,” the PTI chairman added in his subsequent tweet.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation has become a national demand. He alleged the premier has been indulged in unwarranted means of making money in the name of business.
