India may avenge Pathankot incident, warns Sindh home dept

India would retaliate to avenge the Pathankot incident with an attack on some military installation in the month of March, stated the home department in a letter addressed to IG Sindh and DG Rangers.

For this purpose, the neighboring adversary may use members of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or Baloch separatist organizations as operatives, it said.

Logistics to wage the attack would be provided from Kandahar, read the letter, while it is likely to target an airbase or some other military installation.

The home department requested for necessary action with regard to the alarm.

It also urged for extreme vigilance and stringent security measures to be taken by all those concerned to ward off any untoward incident.
