Pakistan’s border security force, Rangers sources in Lahore said that the Indian authorities handed over the prisoners to Pakistan Rangers at Wagah border crossing near Pakistan.

The jails of the two South Asian neighbors housing hundreds of the prisoners from the other side. People living nearby the border usually stranded to the other side unintentionally and arrested by the security agencies sending them to the jails mostly without any reprieve.
Pakistani and Indian fishing boats usually captured by the naval forces for entering in the water limits of the other country mostly due to ambiguously defined water frontiers.
Recently in question hours in Senate Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir told the house that 68 fishermen were released by India last year and 17 in the first four months of this year. However 134 Pakistani fishermen still imprisoned in India.
Indian media reports also claimed hundreds of Indian fishermen imprisoned in Pakistani jails mostly in Karachi.
