CTD inspector gunned down in Quetta

According to police officials, Counter-Terrorism Department’s Inspector Shabbir Ahmed was on his way back home from work when the incident occurred.

Unknown gunmen opened indiscriminate fire when Inspector Ahmed’s vehicle reached Shafi Colony on Saryab Road.

The injured inspector was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital where doctors tried to resuscitate him but he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area and an investigation into the tragic incident has already been initiated.
