Intikhab Alam donates 1.4 million for IDPs

During a visit to Army relief camp for IDPs in Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Intikhab Alam presented a cheque of 1.4 million rupees for affectees of ongoing military operation in NWA.

On this occasion, former cricketer said that people from all walks of life should come up to help IDPs. Incharge of IDP relief camp Brigadier Mazhar Kiani thanked Alam  while urging other cricketers to come forward to help their country men in this hour of test.

On the other hand, Government of Punjab with the cooperation of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to organize four fund-raising matches for IDPs.

First match of the series will be played on July 19th in Rawalpindi, the second one will be held in Multan on 21st July. Third match is scheduled to be played on 24th July in Faisalabad and the fourth and final match which will be among Pakistan’s national cricket team and  A team will be played on 26th July in Lahore.
