The horrific accident took place at Indus Highway when the bus, traveling from Dera Ismail Khan to Karachi, crashed into a truck after which 12 people were killed.
Over 12 persons, including women and children, were also reported injured in the mishap.
Several victims were rushed to Jamshoro Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
It should be noted that careless driving, dilapidated roads and bad maintenance of vehicles are said to be the reasons behind road mishaps in the country.
