Japanese girl finds ‘true love’ in Pakistan

KHANPUR: A Japanese woman found her true love in Pakistan and got married to a native from Khanpur, ARY News reported.

According to the story, Khanpur’s Ahmed Anwar befriended a Japanese lady named Mariya Adlan on social media website Facebook nine months back. Their friendship turned into romance soon.

She converted to Islam and tied the knot with Anwar. Her name has been changed as Mariya Ahmed.

Speaking to media, Anwar said that his family members are happy over his love marriage.

The girl told media that her husband invited her to become a Muslim. The Japanese woman added, “I did research on Islam and came to know that it is the world’s best religion.”

Mariya said, “I happily accepted Islam,” adding that “Pakistanis are very loving people.”

She expressed her love for the country of her spouse by chanting “Pakistan Zindabad” (Long Live Pakistan).
