JI, ANP neck and neck in PK-95 by-election

The Pk-95 seat was up for grabs when Jamaat-e-Islami chief Siraj ul Haq had vacated the seat after winning from the constituency in the general elections 2013. Awami National Party (ANP) is giving a tough time to their political rivals and an impressive competition is expected from ANP.

Both candidates from the rival political parties are popular individuals. Jamaat-e-Islami have decided to field Izaz-ul-Mulk Afkari, the party’s Lower Dir chief, to win back the seat. Whereas ANP has decided to award the party ticket to former MPA Haji Bahadar Khan.
