Justice Saqib Nisar sworn in as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa administered the oath.

Justice Saqib Nisar will act as Chief Justice of Pakistan in absence of Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, who went abroad on a personal visit.

The ceremony was attended by Judges of the Supreme Court, Attorney General of Pakistan, senior lawyers and the officers of the Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan.

Registrar of the apex court Arbab Muhammad Arif,conducted proceedings of the oath taking ceremony, which was also attended by the officers and staff of the Supreme Court.
