KARACHI: A meeting of the operational committee overseeing the targeted operation in Karachi, today reviewed the law and order situation in the metropolis, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
The meeting, held at Rangers Headquarters, jointly chaired by Director General Rangers Sindh Maj. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar and I.G. Police Sindh.
Additonal I.G. Police, deputy D.G. Rangers, sector commanders, zonal DIGs and other top officials attended the meeting.
The officials reviewed various aspects of targeted operation to make it more effective.
DIG special branch and DIG CID briefed the meeting over secret operations of law enforcement agencies.
The officials of the rangers intelligence wing gave briefing over the targets of the operation.
The officials also discussed a strategy to ensure security of the sensitive places in the city.
