Karachi sea breeze likely to restore this evening

KARACHI: The city’s suspended sea breeze likely to be restored this evening, a Met official said on Wednesday.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz said that the mercury could drop to some extent in Karachi from today.

The weather will remain hot and dry in next 24 hours. Presently northeastern winds are blowing with five kilometers per hour speed, according to the Met Office.

Maximum temperature likely to soar to 36 degree Celsius, while humidity ratio remains 68 percent.

Air Quality:

According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) Karachi’s air quality has been unhygienic and the metropolis has been ranked the 10th most polluted city in the world today.

According to the air quality reading the ratio of hazardous particulate matter in Karachi was recorded at 152.

AQI as high as 151-200 is considered unhealthy, while an AQI between 201 to 300 is more harmful and an AQI over 300 is dubbed extremely hazardous.
