Upon receiving information about the incident, SSP Korangi Kamran Khan arrived at the scene and deployed additional police forces to restore peace in the area.

Talking to ARY News SSP Kamran Khan said that the conflict started over one religious group attempting to raise a flag at a local square, which led to a verbal altercation with members of another group, escalating into a violent confrontation.
