Lahore: Bichhu Gang member killed in alleged police encounter

LAHORE: City Police on Tuesday filed FIR on death of a notorious outlaw, dubbed as the kingpin of the ‘Bichhu Gang’ in an alleged police encounter, ARY News reported.

Defence C-area police station has registered FIR about death of Mudassir, being termed leader of the notorious Bichhu Gang in an encounter.

“Bichhu Gang committed a crime last night in Burki area of the city. They were engaged in T-Block’s phase-7 when four robbers opened fire at a patrolling party of police,” the FIR read.

“In counter firing a bandit was killed, while his three accomplices fled from the scene,” according to the FIR.

According to police sources, the gang has been notorious for its involvement scores of crimes in the provincial capital city and outskirts.
