Unidentified gunmen opened fire in Karianwala area of Gujrat leaving two persons dead including a lawyer Sajid Chaudhry, local officials said.
The deadly incident shocked the local lawyers, who expressed anger over the killing of their fellow advocate. The lawyers boycotted the court proceedings to protest against the targeted killing. Gujrat District Bar Association called a strike to protest against the incident.
President of the bar association Imran Ashraf Dhallo while condemning the incident termed it as blatant terrorism.
