Video shows DHA woman brutally torturing underage maid

KARACHI: Another incident of brutal torture on maid has unearthed in a horrific video that shows an unidentified woman beating a young girl inside a house, ARY News reported on Friday.

Later, residents of adjacent houses recorded the video from the roof top, showing a woman mercilessly torturing a young girl, reportedly a maid, aged between 10-11 years at back alley.

The unlucky girl can be heard of screaming for help, “Mummy! Save me.” The incident was reported from a posh, Gizri neighbourhood in Defence area of the metropolis.

A resident said that they were consistently listening screams of a girl for more than one week. Door of the house knocked several times but it kept closed and nobody came out, they added.

Neighbours had also reported police, who arrived in and taken residents of the spotted house and girl to local police stations. Sources said that no action had been carried out by local police and the residents were released after alleged tacit consent with the law enforcers.

This time, the domestic abuse on the young girl is exposed when neighbours recorded the video through mobile phones.

ASP Darakshan police station told ARY News representative that police were collecting further information regarding the incident. The officer added that action will be taken after investigation.

Later, a police team raided the house and shifted the affected girl and a man to the local police station. Police said that the woman, who was allegedly torturing the maid, was not present in the house.

Parents of the girl was also summoned at the police station.

Police said that the department will take strict action against the culprits if the girl and her family registered a complaint against the alleged torture.
