The incident took place in the area of Samijabad with the remits of New Multan police station. Kashif, 27, was sleeping on the pavement when two unknown motorcyclists sprinkled petrol and set him on fire.
Rescue officers reached the scene and shifted him to Nishtar Hospital in critical condition. Doctors said that the victim suffered severe burns to almost twenty percent of this body.
Police have started investigations and have set up vigilance to arrest the perpetrators. However, cops said the motive of the attack was still unclear.
