LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of the former prime minister, has tweeted that not everyone is like her father who keeps from laying bare institutions.
Though she did not name anyone, but his tweet is being seen as an apparent reference to Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal’s press conference in which he spilled the beans on alleged role of security establishment in bringing his party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) close to each other.
In a series of tweets, she said that not everyone was Nawaz Sharif who refrained from lifting the veil on institution despite being repeatedly hurt at their hands.
If his silence was used to undermine the interests of the country, he will not hold his peace anymore, she further said.
Addressing a press conference at Pakistan House, Kamal accused Sattar of soliciting support of the establishment for bringing the two parties on the negotiations table.
On November 8, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) announced to form a political alliance and vowed to contest next general elections under “one banner, name, manifesto and electoral symbol.
