Fire Brigade put out fire at textile mill near Pattoki after 15 hours

PATTOKI: A huge fire that broke out at the Din Textile Mill situated on Multan Road near Pattoki, engulfing a nearby warehouse, extinguished after 15 hours of hectic firefighting operation on Saturday morning.  

As many as 15 vehicles of Fire Brigade from Okara, Lahore, and Kasur took part in the rescue operations that began on late Friday night.

No loss of life was reported. However, the cotton bales worth millions of rupees were burnt to ashes.

The cause of fire could not be ascertained.

The rescue officials said that the raging fire was brought under control after prolonged efforts. The fire tenders from nearby cities were also called in to put out the inferno.
