Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) Sajid Hussain Turi on Wednesday appointed Mian Mobeen Akhtar as a focal person to overseas Pakistanis in Germany.
His appointment was made on honorary basis, the notification said.
According to the notification, Mobeen Akhtar will maintain close liaison with Pakistani community in Germany as well as with Pakistani mission to address the issues of Overseas Pakistanis.

Akhtar will also motivate the Pakistanis to send their remittances through formal banking channels, the notification stated.
