RAWALPINDI: Through speedy trials, model courts have disposed of all the cases related to narcotics and murder in Panjgur district of Balochistan, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
No case related to murder or narcotics is sub judice in the district.
The director general model courts said cases of other districts would be disposed of in coming days.
On April, it emerged that at least 116 cases had been disposed of through speedy trials in model courts across the country.
Director General Monitoring Cell of 116 Model Courts Suhail Nasir had released a report in this regard.
“Verdicts of 43 murder cases and 73 narcotics cases have been announced. Aggregately, fine of more than Rs5.605 million have been imposed,” the report had said.

The report had said two accused were given death sentences.
It had said four cases of murders and one of narcotics were disposed of in Islamabad. While, 12 cases of murders and 33 of drugs were settled, it had added.
Six cases of murder and seven of drugs had been decided in Sindh. While, 14 cases of murder and 17 of drugs have been disposed of in Balochistan, the report had said.
