MQM ‘asks New Delhi to raise voice for its missing workers’

The letter says that at least 12 MQM workers who were travelling to Karachi from Hyderabad were detained by sensitive agencies. The letter further reads that eight of the workers were released while four others are still detained and their lives are at risk.

The letter is addressed to Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan T.C.A. Raghavan. According to letter, MQM has appealed the Indian government to take notice of violation of human rights and constitution in Pakistan.

Farooq Sattar has denied any written to the Indian high Commissioner by the MQM. “It might be any technical glitch that an email is sent somewhere, but no letter has been sent,” he added.
