KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has submitted a resolution in Sindh Assembly against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak’s ‘violence-instigating and anti-Pakistan’ statements, ARY News reported.
The resolution submitted by MQM MPAs condemned Khattak’s speech and adopted the stance that “Pervez Khattak gave profoundly irresponsible statements, in which he incited people on provincial-nationalism and creating anarchy in the country.”
The Karachi-based political party has demanded from the Sindh government to convey their demand to the federal government and demand action against the CM KP under Article 6 of the constitution for treason.
This should be noted that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan had announced to lockdown Islamabad to press the government to start investigation into Panama Leaks. In this context, Pervez Khattak had said the prime minister ‘should not compel us to become rebel otherwise the country would be destroyed’.
