ISLAMABAD: The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday claimed to apprehend a network of suspected miscreants affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement – London, ARY News reported.
Acting on a complaint received against the suspects, the LEAs conducted a raid at the housing society and detained 10 to 12 suspects,
Moeez Khan, a key suspect, was among the arrests. However, the identity of others could not be ascertained immediately.
According to our Islamabad correspondent, the arrests include many absconders who fled from Karachi to avoid captivity. Huge cache of arms and ammunition was also seized during a raid at housing society’s office.
According to sources, a widow of house owner lodged a complaint on December 15 last year against the residents who allegedly threatened the family members and transferred the ownership.
It was further said that the suspects were involved in various crimes.
