MQM Pakistan announces ‘Awami Rabita Campaign’

KARACHI: Mutahida Quami Movement Pakisan chief Farooq Sattar addressing a press conference on Sunday announced to start an ‘Awami Rabita Campaign’ next week.

The party will organise small and large meetings and they will run the campaign for the next hundred days. ” With the next two days, we will start the Awami Rabita Campaign,” he said.

MQM members of parliament, local government workers, and members of the party will form small teams to visit all their constituencies and union councils. The details of the campaign will be shared by them soon.

He vowed to solve the problems of Karachi, and said that funds of union councils available to them will be used for development including improving streets, repairs and cleanliness and provision of other civic amenities.

He said that the MQM was registered in his name at the Election Commission of Pakistan. He called on party workers not be be disheartened, as the MQM Pakistan was still the only party representing them.
