The deputy parliamentary leader of MQM Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan submitted the copy of the decision to the Secretary in Sindh Assembly. The MQM leader said that a by-election should be contested in the country as soon as possible.
He added that truth prevailed in the constituency.
An election tribunal had declared the victory of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) Irfanullah Marwat as void after MQM’s Abdul Rauf Siddiqui had challenged the election result claiming that Marwat had won the polls by rigging.
