KARACHI: Sindh Rangers during a raid in PIB Colony arrested ‘target killer’ of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s military wing on Friday, ARY News reported.
Sindh Rangers spokesman said the raid to arrest MQM Sector In-charge of Lines Area, Ziauddin alias Pahari, was conducted on a tip-off.
He said the alleged target killer was involved in several heinous crimes including kidnapping for ransom, extortion. However, he has been handed over to police for more investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rangers have also lately claimed to have seized huge cache of ammunitions from different locations in the megapolis including one consignment from near former MQM headquarters, Nine Zero.
Rangers said that the weapons and ammunition were likely to be used to spread lawlessness and target killings in the city.
