ISLAMABAD: An adjournment motion was filed in the National Assembly (NA) of Pakistan over the forceful entrance of Sikh protesters into the Parliament House, the other day – ARY News reports.
Members of the House took the stance in the motion that Sikh protesters’ entrance into the Parliament House was the worst failure of security and demanded for a disciplinary action against the elements responsible for this security lapse.
It was further said that several important public buildings and offices are located in the Red-Zone of Islamabad and the Sikh protesters succeeded in making it to the Parliament, due to ineffective security arrangements.
The members of the House demanded the Speaker to hold a debate on the issue, on urgent basis.
Moreover, the members also submitted an adjournment motion, pertaining to the twin blasts that had taken place at the F-6 Super Market.
