KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) here on Friday apprehended Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director Jamil Baloch on charges of land grabbing in Karachi, ARY News reported.
A source privy to the matter, said that Jamil Baloch was involved in China-cutting, illegal constructions, fake NOCs and other irregularities in KDA.
The sources further said that the KDA’s officer was also involved in 60 acres land encroachment on the Malir riverbed area.

Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau
(NAB) on April 10 had filed a fourth reference against former Karachi Development Authority (KDA) director Nasir Abbas and others with an accountability court in a case pertaining to illegal allotment of 14 plots in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
According to the NAB reference, a probe against former Sindh minister Jam Khan Shoro and government official Muhammad Ramzan Awan was ongoing and a supplementary reference would be filed against them once the investigation completes.
The administrative judge of the accountability courts in Karachi had accepted the reference for hearing.
