NADRA decides to conduct biometric verification of NICs

According to sources, SIMs verification will be done after the biometric verification of NICs.

Those citizens, who get their NIC issued on the year 2004 or below, will have to remake their NIC, informed source.

NADRA has also decided to digitize thumb impression taken on simple papers before the year 2005. NIC holders can digitize their cards free of cost from any office of NADRA, sources said.
