Without digging deep into rumour mills, the Rockstar actress slammed these rumours today on Instagram. She hared a poster of her next release Banjo and captioned it ‘#noplanstoquit’ and ‘#allelsearebaselessrumours’.

The speculations gained momentum when the actress flew New York wiuthout promoting Houseful 3.

Earlier, reports on various portals claimed that Fakhri had packed her bags and left the country for good. She’s even unlikely to work in Hindi films again, added the report.

The actress was last seen in ‘Azhar’ opposite Emraan Hashmi and in Housefull 3.

 

The beauty who was succeeding slow but steadily in her career suddenly has given up on it and flown to the US forever.

 

Fakhri had broken down mentally when there was a trouble in paradise after her relationship with actor Uday Chopra headed splitsville. The actress had then given up on all her promotional commitments for Azhar and Housefull 3 and had flown to the US to be around her close kin and friends.

However, it is now being said that Nargis will never be returning to tinsel town and is considering settling down in the US forever.

Couple of months ago, Fakhri fans were left reeling in shock when reports surfaced that Nargis Fakhri had left for New York overnight after she was dumped by alleged beau, Uday Chopra .

Though the duo never admitted to their relationship, reports in the Indian dailies suggest, that the two were dating for almost two years now.

An inside source, as reported by the website, told the portal that Uday ended their love story over the messaging app and has reportedly become quite active on it ever since his break-up.

However, the actress’ spokesperson said otherwise and denied allegations that the actress was about to quit the Indian film industry. Here’s what Fakhri’s spokesperson said about her predicament:

“Nargis has been extremely overworked working on 3 films simultaneously over the last year. Schedules and intense work hours that film-making demands are not something everyone can cope with. Nargis has been unwell, right through the ‘Azhar’ promotions with multiple injuries – torn hamstring, anterior knee ligament thinning and mild socket dislocation along with the burning of the stomach lining due to lead and arsenic poisoning,” he said.
