Housemarque has announced that shoot shoot ’em up game Nex Machina will be arrive on PlayStation4 on June 20.
Media Designer Rudolf Westerholm made the annoucement in blog post saying the day will be remembered in the history of Housemarque.
“This is the day that Housemarque will go down in infamy for creating one of the simplest, purest action arcade games of our generation,” he said.
Westerholm said the game will remind players of the arcade classics of the 80’s, but with modern technology to complement that pure twin-stick joy.
Additionally , Housemarque also announced local co-op. Westerholm said this was something they been trying to keep secret for a long time, but had been guessed by many fans.
Local co-op will allow two players to play side by side, just like in the old school arcades, competing or helping each other out.
They also released a new trailer which includes footage from the Winter Tide level with some two-player action.
