Nisar briefed over progress in bus attack probe

Director General Rangers briefed the interior minister about the progress in investigation of recent attack on a bus of Ismaili passenger and other law and order cases.

Nisar expressed the government’s determination for the lasting peace in Karachi. He said that key evidences have been found about the perpetrators of recent terrorist act in Karachi.

The minister also lauded the role of Sindh Rangers for maintenance of law and order in the city and said that the targeted killings have decreased in the city with Rangers operations.

Director General Rangers Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar, I.G. and AIG Sindh and high officials of Rangers attended the briefing.
