RAWALPINDI: Several suspects were taken into custody in raids across the country as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad aimed at eliminating terrorism from Pakistan, ARY News reported.
According to details, Police search 68 houses and identification documents of 300 persons in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station in Rawalpindi.
A man was arrested for violating Punjab Information of Temporary Residents Act 2015.
Nine people, including two proclaimed offenders, were detained during door-to-door search operation in Liaquatpur in Rahimyar Khan district.
Ten suspects were rounded up from Pindi Bhattian whereas Dunyapur Police arrested 20 persons in raids.
Law enforcers arrested six people from Peshawar and recovered seven pistols, a gun and several rounds.
Jamshoro Police arrested 15 Afghan nationals from different parts of the city whereas five people including two foreigners, were arrested from Karachi.
Cases under violating Sindh Information of Temporary Residents Bill 2015 and Foreigners Act 2016 were filed against the nabbed persons.
