The opposition parties have moved no-trust against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) led coalition government of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
According to reports, the members of coalition partner Jamaat Islami (JI) have not backed the move. An assembly member Maulana Lutfur Rehman however said that Jamaat Islami has assured to support the no-confidence move of the opposition.
After the no-confidence motion filed against his government, the chief minister could not send advice for dissolution of the provincial assembly.
According to earlier reports the opposition parties were agreed over the no-confidence motion against the government but having disagreements over the name of the new leader of the house.
