PESHAWAR: More than 2, 000 police officers/ officials have received Information Technology (IT) training at Police School of Information Technology, Peshawar, said a release.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police press release, to cater for the training needs of the police officers / officials working on the IT tools throughout the province, KP police established Police School of Information Technology in September 2015 on the direction of Inspector General of Police KP Nasir Khan Durrani.
“It is now mandatory for every police recruit to undergo IT training in the Police School of IT to be eligible for promotion,” it said.
The press release said the school has trained over 2000 police officers / officials in different computer courses offered under the supervision of qualified instructors.
“The courses include Basic Computer Course, Advanced Computer Course, Professional Computer Course, E-Learning Course, Computer Programming and Hardware Maintenance & Troubleshooting Course,” it said.
