Upon his arrival at the Headquarters of Southern Command, Quetta, Lt. Gen. Nasir Khan Janjua welcomed the Afghan commander.
During the meeting, both the commanders exchanged views on Pak-Afghan border security and affairs of mutual interest.
On this occasion, Lt. Gen. Fazli also laid a floral wreath on Martyrs Monument.
A few days earlier, General Janjua had also visited Afghanistan.
According to the ISPR – military’s public relations wing – the purpose of recent security visits is to promote confidence building process between the forces of the two neighborly states.
