Pakistan Army rescues 50 stranded tourists from Naran

Heavy snowfall in parts of northern areas of the country left several visitors and tourists stranded whereas the food supply to the affected areas was also cut.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army rescue teams rescued 50 tourists trapped in Naran’s Bharwai Road and shifted them to a safe place.

ISPR also stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities to immediately rescue the stranded persons.

ISPR added that Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) teams are engaged in relief operations.
