ISLAMABAD: Pakistan fully believes in peaceful coexistence with all the neighbouring countries and always supports every initiatives taken to achieve sustainable peace in Afghanistan.

National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasser Khan Janjua stated this while talking to British Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan Owen Jenkin in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The advisor said Pakistan was also keen to resolve all disputes with India to take the region on the path of prosperity and development.

He said Pakistan and Afghanistan needed to strengthen political, diplomatic, military and intelligence cooperative framework at all levels.

“Pakistan is ready to extend full cooperation for peace and stability in Afghanistan as both the countries have common future,” he said.

Nasser Janjua expressed satisfaction over the recent positive developments between Pakistan and Afghanistan and said that Pakistan recognized the prevailing optimism very positively and more so as an opportunity to work together.

Owen Jenkin said UK was keen to play a constructive role for the stability of the region and it was time to consolidate on this positive environment.
