Pakistan, China ink MoU to further expand cooperation under CPEC

BEIJING: Pakistan and China on Thursday signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) to further expand cooperation in diverse fields during the 8th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting of China-Pakistan- Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to the details, a Pakistani delegation headed by Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtiar and Chinese delegation attended the 8th JCC meeting of CPEC held in Beijing.

Both the delegations agreedĀ to form a framework for socio-economic progress and decided to enhance economic ties between the two countries.

The meeting review progress on different ongoing projects in Gwadar and decided to expend cooperation in the fields of agriculture, industry andĀ economics,

It is pertinent to mention here that, Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtiar co-chaired the 8th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Thursday.

The JCC meeting was held in Chinese capital Beijing today. Vice Chairman National Reform Commission of China also chaired the meeting with the Pakistani federal minister.
