LAHORE: Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) has announced the recruitment of 964 candidates for the post of Sepoy General Duty (BPS-05) under its 2026 recruitment drive.
According to the recruitment advertisement, applications are being invited from eligible Pakistani male candidates against vacancies allocated under the prescribed provincial and regional quota system.

The recruitment includes a total of 964 posts. The advertised quota distribution is as follows:
Open Merit: 72 posts
Punjab, including Islamabad: 482 posts
Sindh (Urban): 73 posts
Sindh (Rural): 110 posts
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 111 posts
Balochistan: 58 posts
Newly Merged Districts: 29 posts
Gilgit-Baltistan: 10 posts
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 19 posts
The advertisement also states that 5 percent quota will be reserved for minorities in accordance with the applicable government policy.
Registration dates
Online registration for the recruitment drive has been scheduled from August 17, 2026, to August 26, 2026. Candidates are required to complete their registration within the announced deadline.
