Pakistan is all set for 'Heimtextil' trade fair in Frankfurt

The upcoming four days fair to be held from January 14 to 17 next year in Frankfurt, Germany, will provide Pakistan textile exporters a chance to uplift local textile industry. The international trade exhibition is a platform for manufacturers, retailers and designers to show off their products to visitors.

Speaking to ARY News, representative of Frankfurt and Director Haji Salahuddin, said that four days Heimtextil Expo 2015 will start from January 14 in Frankfurt in which more than 200 Pakistani companies will participate including exporters, manufacturers, retailers, designers as well as home textile and towel manufacturers.

Haji Salahuddin informed that a separate pavilion for Pakistani companies will be established by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

Pakistan’s Commercial Counselor in Frankfurt Rizwan Tariq said that Pakistan is third largest participant of exhibition in terms of quantity. He added that Heimtextil is of much importance for Pakistan specifically after attaining the GSP Plus rank in European Union.

According to details, around 2158 companies from 62 countries had participated in the Heimtextil Expo 2014 while approximately 66000 visitors from 129 countries visited the exhibition.
