Pakistan will make no deal on its nuclear program: Sharif

While interacting with media in London, the Pakistan premier reminded he was the head of government that ordered testing nuclear bombs in 1999 and said even today his government will safeguard the interests of Pakistan in any case.

In response to some US media reports of demands to limit Pakistan’s nuclear assets, he asserted: “Pakistan will make no deal on its nuclear program.”

Speaking about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), PM Sharif said there is no pressure on Pakistan with regard to the CPEC and that several projects linked with it have already been initiated.

He, however, lamented ‘a new kind of politics’ that has recently been introduced in Pakistan, adding that political leaders should demonstrate maturity before the masses.
