Pakistan would win1st T20, if there wasn’t any rain:Iqbal Qasim

LAHORE: Former Chief Selector of national cricket team, Iqbal Qasim has said that team Pakistan had lost the first Twenty20 in Johannesburg because of Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method, ARY News reported on Thursday.



While talking to media, Iqbal Qasim said that players performed well and Pakistan would win the match if the rain wasn’t interrupted.



“Pakistan showed better performance in the 1st T20, one win will boost up their morale greatly”, Iqbal added.



He said that people considers the suggestion of taking rest as weird, while being unfit.



Talking about the batting failure, he said that senior batsmen should feel the responsibility as changing batting order again and again is not the solution to the problem.



Iqbal Qasim praised the new comer batsmen Sohaib Maqsood by saying that Pakistan is getting good talent like Sohaib, it should be utilized properly by giving more and more chances.
